Building an examination binder for a Taiwan payment firm
How to arrange policies, management information, and ownership maps so a renewal review does not become a last-minute scramble.
Taiwan payment firms approaching renewal often have the documents — scattered across inboxes, chat exports, and half-forgotten shared drives. An examination binder is less a decorative folder and more a map: what exists, who owns it, and what still needs writing.
We start with a practical request list shaped by prior examinations in the payments space, then inventory against it. Gaps become a worklist with dates, not a vague sense of unease.
Mandarin and English versions
Dual-language packs need version discipline. If the English summary promises monthly MI while the Mandarin board pack shows quarterly, examiners will ask which one governs. Align them before rehearsal, not during it.
Rehearsal without theatre
Two focused sessions beat a day of role-play. We ask control owners the questions that usually expose thin spots: escalation timing, outsourcing oversight, and how customer complaints feed monitoring changes. Keep product launch weeks in mind when scheduling — compressed half-days can still work.
See Licensing Examination Prep for how we structure this engagement.
